<br />FXS:dft '2/5/90 (037/29) <br /> <br />as fully set forth in the Finding of Facts filed herewith. <br /> <br />A summary of the Ordinance is as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1.103 of the Fire Code is amended and states that <br /> <br /> <br />the provisions of the Fire Code, as amended by the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, are in addition to all other requirements imposed <br /> <br /> <br />by the City. <br /> <br />Section 2.201 of the Fire Code is amended and states that <br /> <br /> <br />unsafe buildings shall be abated according to the procedures <br /> <br />specified in Article II of Chapter 9 of the City rather than <br /> <br /> <br />according to Chapters 4-9 of the Uniform Code of the Abatement of <br /> <br /> <br />Dangerous Building or other procedures. <br /> <br />Section 10.301.1 is added to the Fire Code and states that <br /> <br /> <br />(a) in hotels, office and apartment buildings, convents and <br /> <br /> <br />monestaries, each accommodating more than ten (10) persons, and <br /> <br />having floors used for human occupancy more than 75 feet above <br /> <br /> <br />the lowest level of fire department vehicle access, shall be <br /> <br /> <br />equipped with approved rescue air replenishment system; (b) in <br /> <br />building six or more stories in height, fire fighters <br /> <br />communication systems shall be installed; (c) in every building <br /> <br /> <br />four or more stories in height, except as provided under Title 19 <br /> <br />of the California Code of Regulations, an emergency procedures <br /> <br />board shall be posted in the central hallway of corridors on each <br /> <br /> <br />floor; (d) in all building four or more stories in height, the <br /> <br /> <br />building owner or manager or other representative of the building <br /> <br /> <br />owner shall conduct an emergency evacuation drill not less than <br /> <br /> <br />annually; (e) in building four or more stories in height, a <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />,-- <br />
