<br />FXS:dft '2/5/90 (037/29) <br /> <br />public address system shall be installed for the use of the fire <br />department; (f) in building of six or more stories in height, a <br />cabinet or other enclosed facility shall be provided in every <br />stairwell, or other selected place for the storage of fire hose <br />and related equipment. <br />Section 10.301.2 is added to the Fire Code and states that, <br />except as otherwise provided in the Fire Code as amended, all <br />water mains providing a water supply to fire for fire protection <br />shall be not less than eight inches in diameter. <br />Section 10.307.1 is added to the Fire Code and states that <br />approved (a) automatic sprinkler systems shall be installed and <br />maintained in accordance with the provisions of all the <br />applicable standards of the 1989 Edition of the National Fire <br />Protection Association Standards. (b) Approved automatic <br />sprinkler systems with more than twenty (20) sprinkler heads <br />shall include a water flow detective device and other devices. <br />(c) Approved automatic sprinkler systems shall be installed in <br />those building with structure: the total for area which is 7,500 <br />square feet or more; which are over fifty (50) feet or more in <br />height; which are four stories or more irrespective of height. <br />Section 11.303 is added to the Fire Code and states that a <br />charge for Fire Department response to more than two false alarms <br />in a sixty (60) day period in the business or residence shall be <br />payable by the owner according to a schedule established by the <br />City Council. <br />Section 47.106 of the Fire Code is amended and states that <br /> <br />4 <br />
