<br />FXS:dft '2/5/90 (037/29) <br /> <br />where a flammable gas or substance giving rising to a flammable <br />gas or toxic gas is used for fumigation, the employer shall be <br />required to maintain (1) breathing apparatus and other apparatus <br />as required by state law; (2) conspicuous placards warning of the <br />fumigated area and health hazards; and (3) a twenty-four hour <br />supervision by trained personnel, trained in the proper use of <br />breathing apparatus. <br />Section 80.101 of the Fire Code is amended and states that <br />the purpose of this Article is to provide requirements for the <br />prevention, control and mitigation of dangerous conditions <br />relating to hazardous materials and to provide information needed <br />by emergency response personnel. Said Section provide an <br />exception for retail display of non-flammable solid and <br />non-flammable or non-flammable non-combustible liquid hazardous <br />materials as more fully outlined in Section 80.109. <br />Section 80.109 is added to the Fire Code and states that the <br />aggregate quantity of non-flammable solid and non-flammable or <br />non-combustible liquid hazardous materials permitted within a <br />single control area of Group B Division 2 retail sales occupancy, <br />may exceed the exempt amount specified in specific tables of the <br />Fire Code. This Section states that the maximum allowable <br />quantity in pounds or gallons permitted within a single control <br />area of retail sales occupancy shall be the amount obtained in <br />multiplying the exempt amount specified in the tables specified <br />in the specific tables referred to in the Fire Code by a certain <br />density factor set forth in the ordinance and then multiplying <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />-T-- <br />
