Pick-up <br />Bidder is responsible for arranging pick-up of existing pump, motor and parts from the PWS <br />corporation yard in Redwood City, CA to Bidder’s warehouse or other location for servicing. <br /> <br />B. Warranty <br /> <br />Bidder should specify in Attachment A – Bid Pricing Form details surrounding the manufacturer’s <br />standard warranty on all materials, and details surrounding any additional w arranties offered. <br /> <br />Due to the critical role of the pumps in storm water operations, Bidder must be able to provide a <br />minimum one-year warranty on labor and, in the event of any failure in the repaired pumps, be <br />able to respond to the City within 24 hours. Response is defined as on-site troubleshooting at the <br />respective pump station in Redwood City. <br /> <br />C. Preparation for Shipment <br /> <br />Bidder shall ensure that all materials and parts are prepared for ship ment in such a manner as to <br />protect them from damage in transit, and shall be responsible for and repair all damaged parts or <br />replace all losses incurred in transit to the designated delivery point and not later than the specified <br />delivery date. <br /> <br />D. Deliveries and Extensions <br /> <br />Bidder will specify the maximum number of days till delivery and installation in Attachment A; <br />example: 60 days from the date the City mails the purchase order to the successful Bidder. <br /> <br />6.1.B. - Page 16
