Contractor will include a statement that it is an equal opportunity <br />employer in all solicitations or advertisements for subcontractors or employees. <br />17. INTEREST OF PUBLIC OFFICIALS. No covered persons who <br />exercise any function or responsibility with respect to this Agreement or <br />Contractor's Program during his or her tenure, or for one year thereafter, will <br />have any interest, direct or indirect, in this Agreement or a related subcontract, or <br />the proceeds thereof. For purposes of this paragraph, covered persons includes <br />any person who is an employee, agent, consultant, officer, or elected or <br />appointed official of the City or Contractor. Contractor will incorporate in all <br />subcontracts hereunder a provision prohibiting such interest. <br />18. LOBBYING PROHIBITED. Funds provided under this Agreement will <br />not be used by Contractor for publicity or propaganda purposes designed to <br />support or defeat legislation pending before federal, state, or local government. <br />19. INHERENTLY RELIGIOUS ACTIVITY PROHIBITED.
