The following restrictions and limitations shall apply to the services rendered by <br />Contractor in connection with the terms of this Agreement: <br />(a) Contractor will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for <br />employment on the basis of religion and will not limit employment or give <br />preference in employment to persons on the basis of religion; and <br />(b) Contractor will provide no religious instruction or counseling, conduct no religious <br />worship or services, engage in no religious proselytizing, and exert no other <br />religious influence related to the Project. <br />20. UNIFORM ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS. Contractor will comply <br />with the requirements and standards of the Community Development Block Grant <br />Regulations, OMB's "Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit <br />Requirements for Federal Awards," codified at 2 CFR Part 200, and all other federal, <br />state, and local laws, regulations and requirements, as applicable. <br />21. COMPLIANCE WITH CALIFORNIA LABOR LAWS AND FEDERAL <br />REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor agrees to comply with the requirements of the <br />Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis -Bacon Act, as amended, the provisions <br />of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 3701 et seq.) and all <br />other applicable Federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to labor <br />standards insofar as those acts apply to the performance of this Agreement. Contractor <br />agrees to comply with the Copeland Anti -Kickback Act (18 U.S.C. 874, 40 U.S.C. 3145) <br />and its implementing regulations of the U.S. Department of Labor at 29 CFR Part 3. <br />Contractor agrees that, pursuant to 42 USC 5310, all laborers and mechanics employed <br />by contractors or subcontractors in the performance of construction work financed in <br />whole or in part with assistance received from the Community Development Block Grant <br />Funds shall be paid wages at rates not less than those prevailing on similar construction <br />in the locality as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis - <br />Page 9 of 15 <br />REV: 11-03-1715 <br />ATTY/AG R.2017.249/ R E N A I S SA N C E <br />
