Some <br />of the tests could be performed in conjunction with welding inspections. We are budgeting <br />an allowance of 24 hours for inspection and tests of anchors. <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Anchor Installation Inspections: 24 hours @ $ 65.00 per hour <br /> <br />$ 1,560.00 <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />FRP Inspections <br />Basis: -We will inspect FRP fabrication once a week, at random, for the 26-week production <br />schedule. The inspection will verify the contractor's compliance with in-house quality <br />control manual and procedures. <br />-Fifteen samples representing production shall be selected at random and tested for <br />flexural strength in accordance with ASTM 0690. <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br /> <br />FRP Inspections: Twenty six, 4 hour trips; 104 hours @ $ 65.00 per hour $ 6,760.00 <br />Flexural Strength Tests: 15 tests @ $ 400.00 each 6.000.00 <br />Sub-Total $ 12,760.00 <br /> <br />Total <br /> <br />$ 880.00 <br />$ 34.170.00 <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Project Management. Final Affidavit: 8 hours @ $ 110.00 per hour <br /> <br />The above fees are not-to-exceed for the construction schedule provided to us. Based on our experience on <br />similar projects in the past, the total costs can sometimes exceed the estimate due to changes in the construction <br />schedule. We will try to keep you infonned of changes that have an adverse impact on inspection fees in a <br />timely manner.
