EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE Task 1.1 Review/Assess and Summarize Comments TASK 1 ' IELIVERABLES Consultant will review, code and categorize the public Summary of Public Comments comments received on the Draft EIR, including those on the Draft EIR and Approach to made by the public and City Council during the public Responses Memo (PDF) hearing on the Draft EIR. Consultant will recommend appropriate response approaches for each comment (or category of comments), and identify those that warrant input or direction from the City. The City has received approximately 300 distinct comments that warrant responses, in addition to comments received from the City and Project sponsor on the initial draft of this proposed scope of work. The Consultant estimates it will take a total of 296 labor hours to prepare the Response to Comments / Final EIR, approximately 82 hours of which are preparation of initial draft responses to comments. This assumes Consultant will update and reuse limited draft responses prepared for the 2016 Responses to Comments where appropriate. Specifically, based on our review of comments to date, previous draft responses that may apply pertain to bird impacts and bird -safe design; jobs/housing imbalance; and some aspects of sea level rise and air quality toxic air contaminant effects.
