REV: 06-17-2021 SK Exhibit “A” SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE This memo presents a scope of work for Consultant to analyze a change to the Project Applicant’s “Revised Project,” that Consultant previously analyzed in the Screencheck Final EIR (5/20/20). This scope of work involves changes to the project to include an ice rink in place of the previously proposed commons building. Consultant understands that below are the Project Applicant’s proposed operations for the ice rink, which Consultant understands is in conceptual stages. This analysis will provide CEQA clearance for the project. The formal application for Architectural Review of the ice rink will be submitted if the Harbor View project is approved. Typical times facility is used daily: 6:00 am-8:30 am: some adult hockey use 8:30 am-3:30 pm or 4:30 pm: typically no use 12:00pm-1:00 pm possible office users 3:30 pm or 4:30 pm- 11:00pm: children use and later adult use Overall Skating Programs Public skating: midday Saturday and Sunday Children’s’ hockey skating: morning and evening Figure skating: after school (daily) Adult hockey: evening Scope of Work Approach The approach assumes that the Final EIR will present a single revised project, the ice rink scenario; there will be no proposed project scenario that includes a Community Commons Building. Consultant and Fehr & Peers, subconsultant, will conduct and present in Chapter 2 (Description and Analysis of the Applicant’s Revised Project) of the Final EIR the analysis necessary to demonstrate whether the Revised Project with the ice rink scenario would result in a new or substantially more severe significant impact compared to those ATTY/AGR.2021/Amend No. 4/Environmental Science Associates (ESA) (Page 4 of 9)
