<br /> <br /> <br /> Police Department 1301 Maple Street <br /> JR Gamez Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> Chief of Police Telephone (650) 780-7122 <br /> Fax Line (650) 780-7149 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />November 28, 2017 <br /> <br />Mr. Darren Schrum, Race Director <br />Redwood City Police Cadet Program <br />1301 Maple Street <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Schrum, <br /> <br />The Redwood City Police Cadet Program is hereby issued this letter permit <br />authorizing the “2nd Annual Run with the Cops” event in accordance with the terms <br />and conditions herein. <br /> <br />Permission is granted to the Redwood City Police Cadet Program (“Permittee”) by <br />the City of Redwood City (“City”). The permit is subject to the following terms and <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. Name of Event: The 2nd Annual Run with the Cops event shall be conducted <br />by the Permittee. <br /> <br />2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the <br />City. <br /> <br />3. Non-Transferability: This permit is non-transferable. <br /> <br />4. Location: The activities herein permitted shall be conducted on Seaport <br />Boulevard. (See Attached map for details). <br /> <br />5. Date and Time: The 2nd Annual Run with the Cops event shall be <br />conducted on Saturday, December 16, 2017. Set-up shall begin at <br />approximately 6:00 a.m., with the event commencing at 8:00 a.m., and ending <br />by 11:00 a.m. The course shall be completely cleared and the roadway <br />reopened by 12:00 p.m. <br /> <br />6. Course Control: Those portions of the 2nd Annual Run with the Cops event <br />taking place in the public right-of-way shall be limited to the area and <br />conducted in a manner designated by the Police Chief. <br /> <br />7. Insurance: Permittee shall provide City proof of commercial general liability <br />insurance coverage for any and all activities permitted hereunder in the <br />7.3.A. - Page 9
