<br />The month of June being the end of the fiscal year, Chair- <br />man Millington suggested that it would be a fitting time to arrive <br />at definite terms for the members of the Commission. Mr. Dimmdtt <br />~ stated that the members had been appointed for an indefinite term, <br />but that if it was the wish of the group to have the appointments <br />be for defin~te terms, he suggested that the members draw lots-- <br />three terms to be for a period of one year: two terms, for a per- <br />iod of two years: and two terms for a period of three years. The <br />results of the drawing were as follows: <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />1 year terms - Chairman Millington <br />Donald Bog'~e <br />Mildred Hoenck <br /> <br />2 year terms - Mrs. L. A. McAtee <br />Andrew Spinas <br /> <br />3 year terms - K. W. Van Gundy <br />James P. Hagan <br /> <br />Director Morton announced Parade and Swimming Event to be <br />held on September 17 to celebrate Harbor Day. <br /> <br />Feeling that the horse shoe pit which is now situated at <br />Mezes Plaza would be u~ed much more widely if it were at Hawes <br />Park, the Commission decided thát it would be advisable to remove <br />the pit to Hawes Park. <br /> <br />Mr. Morton announced the addition of volley ball courts <br />at Hawes Park. <br /> <br />There being no further bu~iness, upon motion made, sec- <br />onded, and carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:07 p.m. <br /> <br />Mildred J.
