The month of June being the end of the fiscal year, Chair- man Millington suggested that it would be a fitting time to arrive at definite terms for the members of the Commission. Mr. Dimmdtt ~ stated that the members had been appointed for an indefinite term, but that if it was the wish of the group to have the appointments be for defin~te terms, he suggested that the members draw lots-- three terms to be for a period of one year: two terms, for a per- iod of two years: and two terms for a period of three years. The results of the drawing were as follows: ~ 1 year terms - Chairman Millington Donald Bog'~e Mildred Hoenck 2 year terms - Mrs. L. A. McAtee Andrew Spinas 3 year terms - K. W. Van Gundy James P. Hagan Director Morton announced Parade and Swimming Event to be held on September 17 to celebrate Harbor Day. Feeling that the horse shoe pit which is now situated at Mezes Plaza would be u~ed much more widely if it were at Hawes Park, the Commission decided thát it would be advisable to remove the pit to Hawes Park. Mr. Morton announced the addition of volley ball courts at Hawes Park. There being no further bu~iness, upon motion made, sec- onded, and carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:07 p.m. Mildred J.
