Carmel <br />School. - <br /> <br />Mr. Spinas - announced that dur ing the summer - months the <br />students interested in orchestra practice liked to continue, their <br />practice during the summer months. A Mr. Spinas would'be glad to <br />take over the instruction if he could use a room in the grammar <br />school and use the school equipment, '- and each child would, Mr:. <br />Spinas believed,. pay to Mr.-Spinas the sum of $S.OO'for: the <br />period of six weeks, twice a week. It would be in order for the <br />school to allow Mr. Spinas the use of the school room and the <br />musical instruments and any other equipment necessary-to carry <br />out the program, Mr. Spinas was informed by the District Attorney <br />Mansfield, but by so doing the school would be establishing <br />a precedence. and putting itself in the position-of lending the <br />room and equipment to anyone else. who might ask for it under <br />similar circumstances. If the schoOl were to lend the room and <br />equipment to the City Recreation 'Department and have them sponsor <br />it, it would not be in this position, and Mr. Spinas asked if it <br />would be possible for the Recreation Department to sponsor this <br />activity.
