6.2.A. - Page 2 <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The City Council may choose not to accept the project or not authorize the release of <br />bonds and retention of contract payments; however, this would be contrary to the terms <br />of the contract approved by City Council and public contracting code. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds for this specific project were approved and appropriated in the budget for Fiscal <br />Year 2016/17 — Traffic Mitigation Fees Fund, Blomquist Avenue Extension Project <br />Replacement. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br />As the lead agency, the City of Redwood City determined that the acceptance of the <br />Bair Island Storm Drain Pump Station Project does not constitute a Project as defined <br />under CEQA.
