. . � <br />a. Executive Summary — this provided key findings and policy considerations <br />from the existing conditions report, listed below. <br />b. Land Use, Streetscape, and Public Realm — this described the existing <br />developments, parcel analysis, park and public facilities, streetscape <br />conditions, land use, and zoning. Each section concluded with <br />opportunities and challenges. <br />c. Real Estate Market — this provided market assessments and key <br />challenges for retail and lodging, office, and residential uses along the <br />corridor. <br />d. Transportation — this analyzed existing pedestrian, bicycle, transit, and <br />vehicular facilities, including gaps in connectivity, safety and collision data, <br />on -street parking supply and use, and traffic congestion (queuing). <br />2. Concepts and Options — this framed the discussion of concepts and more <br />importantly, tradeoffs, for bicycling, pedestrian safety and comfort, parking, land <br />use and activity nodes, transit, economic development and small business <br />support, and community benefits. <br />3. Traffic & Bikeways Analvsis — this provided an analysis of how the removal of <br />right turn lanes for protected bike lanes may impact traffic flow and travel time. <br />4. Traffic & Circulation Analysis — this explored opportunities to improve mobility for <br />all users with specific attention on traffic flow, circulation, and interaction between <br />users. <br />5. Mixed Use Live/Work Analysis — this discussed feasibility challenges associated <br />with the mixed-use live/work zoning designation as compared to the district's <br />purpose, examples from other jurisdictions, and policy implications. <br />Citizens Advisory Group <br />The City Council appointed a 10 -member Citizen's Advisory Group (CAG) of local <br />residents, including representatives from the Planning Commission, Complete Streets <br />Advisory Committee, and Housing and Human Concerns Committee. The Council <br />established the CAG to act as the working body of the public and to help disseminate <br />information. The group provided a diverse range of interests, expertise, ages, length of <br />residency, and neighborhood representation. The City held six CAG public meetings to <br />review and provide feedback on data analysis, street design options, corridor plan <br />components, and the draft Plan. <br />On October 4, 2017, the CAG held its final meeting to review and provide comment on <br />the CAG Draft Corridor Plan. The group was supportive of the Plan, suggesting that it <br />captured the direction received to date and provided additional feedback on how to <br />underscore the importance of mobility to the Plan, promote testing programs for <br />
