<br />S. / K- 4- <br /> <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MOUNTAIN VIEW <br />AND THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR <br />CONSULTATION SERVICES <br /> <br />This contract is dated for identification this 23rd day of June, 2005, and is made by <br />and between the CITY OF MOUNTAIN VIEW, a California Charter City and municipal <br />corporation, whose address is P,O. Box 7540, Mountain View, California, 94039 <br />(hereinafter "CITY"), and the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, whose address is Human <br />Resources Department, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California, 94063 <br />(hereinafter "CONSULTANT"). <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. CITY desires to retain the services of CONSULTANT to design harassment <br />and discrimination prevention training. <br /> <br />B. CONSULTANT is a qualified professional capable of providing the certain <br />professional services which CITY seeks. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the recitals and mutual promises <br />contained herein, CITY does hereby engage CONSULTANT, and CONSULTANT <br />agrees, to perform the services set forth herein in accordance with the following terms <br />and conditions: <br /> <br />1. <br />services: <br /> <br />Description of Services. CONSULTANT shall provide the following <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Design harassment and discrimination prevention training for all <br />employees. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Design additional segment for supervisors that complies with AB 1825. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Provide one-day train-the-trainer program for Mountain View staff. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Review harassment and discrimination policies and make suggestions <br />for a more user-friendly format. <br /> <br />2. Schedule and Term. The schedule for performing said services as described <br />in the attached proposal from CONSULTANT and incorporated herein as Exhibit A: <br /> <br />CONSULTANT shall commence work under this contract on June 27,2005 <br />and shall complete all work under this contract no later than September 30,2005. <br /> <br />-1- <br />
