At Veterans Boulevard there is a section <br />of Redwood Creek that comes across and is banked by some green space that <br />could be explored as an opportunity site without sacrificing dense building <br />opportunities downtown. <br /> <br />Adrian Brandt stated that banks should be located on side streets rather than <br />Broadway due to lack of activity on weekends and evenings. He questioned the <br />yellow triangle area where the Mexican restaurant and yogurt shop are located <br />and how it all gets tied together to the downtown. <br /> <br />Recess: 9:35-9:50 p.m. <br /> <br />Michael Freedman introduced the topic of physical design. Marta Borzani of the <br />Concord Group summarized the analysis of identifying the required density so <br />that future residential development does not require City subsidy. Council Member Foust - referred to the July 11, 2005 Council meeting <br />discussion of the zoning and land use designatiohs related to Urban Reserve. <br />She requested that Council consider at a future meeting the policy decision of <br />removing the Urban Reserve for Area H and leaving the zoning designation as <br />Tidal Plain.
