69. Construction Sign - Prior to the start of any construction work, including <br />demolition, install at least one 36" x 48" (minimum) construction sign in a visible <br />location along the project frontage for the duration of construction. The sign <br />shall include, at minimum, the following information: project name & address, <br />elevation or rendering, construction manager (name, phone number), <br />anticipated completion (season, year), and the City's permitting website <br />httD://Dermits. redwoodcitv.orq, [COA][PLANNING] <br />70. Construction Meetings — The applicant is required to contact the Permit <br />Counter (650.780.7350) to schedule the following meetings prior to or during <br />construction. [COA][BUILDING] <br />a. Pre -Submittal — Prior to building permit submittal, <br />schedule a pre -submittal meeting with Building, Planning, Engineering and <br />Fire staff to discuss the permitting process and submittal requirements. <br />b. Pre -Construction - After City permits are issued, but <br />prior to start of construction, schedule a pre -construction meeting with <br />Engineering, Building, Fire, and Planning staff to discuss the inspection <br />process and requirements for construction and site work. The applicant <br />shall arrange for the attendance of the owner, developer, construction <br />manager, contractor, and all subcontractors who are responsible for <br />grading and erosion and sedimentation protection controls. <br />C. Interior Finishes & Amenities - After sheetrock <br />inspection but prior to installation, contact the Project Planner and Housing <br />Staff to verify, to the City's satisfaction, that all interior finishes and <br />amenities in the affordable units are equivalent to amenities used in <br />market rate units. <br />71. Materials Mock -Up — Prior to final foundation inspection, prepare a mock-up <br />that is outdoors, readily accessible, and will remain intact until the project has <br />reached substantial completion. The mock-up should include all project colors <br />and materials, windows for the base and top, balconies, lighting, and <br />architectural details, as well as construction details, such as the weep screed, <br />to understand how the design addresses them. Then schedule a mock-up <br />meeting with the Planning and Building Departments for final review and <br />approval of the project details. Submit an updated colors and materials board <br />or details if any changes are made as a result of the mock-up meeting. <br />[COA][PLANNING] <br />72. Certification Letters - Prior to final inspection, submit letters from the following <br />architects verifying that the project, as constructed, complies with approved <br />plans. After the certification letter has been submitted, the project planner will <br />also confirm substantial compliance with the approved plans during the <br />scheduled final inspection.
