I I Scope of Work/Methodology EDAW, Inc. I E.3 Planning Commission and City Council Review EDA Wand City Staff will present to the Planning Commission and City Council the Draft Downtown Area Plan. I I E.4 ULI Fall Meeting Panel Review Program - Optional EDA W is a Sustaining Member of the Urban land Institute, and is very active in their programs. We could sponsor and participate with the City's interest, a critique by members of the ULI on the Draft Plan. The fall meeting may be a logical time to solicit critique by the outside development community. We are suggesting earlier in the alternatives generation phase to get a Bay Area panel of developer experts involved. The ULI panel would consist of national development experts. The ULI charges a fee for this service, and EDA Wassumes the City would cover this expense. Meeting attendance for EDA W members is covered through our own membership fees. I I I I E.S Final Downtown Area Plan Based on comments provided by the public and elected officials, we will revise the Draft Downtown Area Plan and produce a Final version. I Product Deliverables Major products submitted to the City of Redwood City by EDA Win preparation of the Downtown Area Plan include: I Background Conditions Paper - Draft - 20 copies, Final- 20 copies. Market and Economic Analysis - Draft - 20 copies, Final- 2 copies. Alternative Strategy Plans fully rendered (3 maximum) Downtown Area Plan - Administrative Draft - 20 copies, Hearing Draft - 40 copies, Final - 40 copies. I I EDA W will prepare all relevant wall graphics and diagrams for the public participation Program, and deliver electronic copies of all reports via Internet, floppy disc, or CD as appropriate. Word processing documents will be in Word format, and spreadsheets in Excel format. I I Other Meetings EDA Wand its consultants will be available for additional meetings beyond those stated herein at Standard Hourly Billing Rates for the individuals requested. I I PROJECT SCHEDULE The City has expressed its desire to complete the process described herein within 12 months beginning on or around May 1, 2000. We believe that to be a realistic time frame. As with any process that involves solicitation from the general public and political bodies, there may be unexpected turns and twist yet unknown. EDA W will endeavor to stay on schedule, but are not held responsible for the actions of others that delay the process. The Project Schedule Diagram follows the Scope of Work.
