<br />with the fireworks display and in agreement with the affected property <br />owners, Chesapeake Drive shall be closed at Seaport Boulevard on July 4, <br />2000, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Seaport Court will be closed on July 4, <br />2000, at 7:00 p.m. or when parking capacity has been reached, whichever <br />occurs first. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Dates and Time: The parade, arts and crafts fair, festival, and fireworks <br />display shall be conducted on Tuesday, July 4,2000. The parade staging <br />area shall be reserved from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; the parade route shall be <br />reserved from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The arts and crafts fair and festival <br />shall be conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The fireworks display shall <br />be conducted from 9:30 p.m. until 1 0:00 p.m. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Insurance: Permittee shall provide to the City of Redwood City commercial <br />general liability insurance coverage for any and all activities permitted <br />hereunder in the amount of $1 ,000,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 <br />aggregate, naming the City of Redwood City, its City Council, commissions, <br />committees, boards, officers, employees, and agents (collectively, the "City- <br />insureds") as insureds or additional insureds. If the City-insureds are covered <br />as additional insureds, the Permittee shall provide endorsements to the <br />policy which shall provide that: (i) said insurance shall be primary insurance <br />with respect to the City-insureds, (ii) apply separately to each insured against <br />whom claim is made or suit is brought, except with respect to the limits of the <br />insured's liability (cross liability endorsement), and (iii) name the City- <br />insureds as additional insureds. Permittee shall furnish evidence of such <br />insurance coverage in a form satisfactory to the City at least ten (10) days <br />prior to commencement of the event. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Damage to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse the City for the costs <br />of any damages to City owned property in the vicinity of the designated. <br />areas, caused by or arising out of the conducting of the activities permitted <br />hereunder, or the acts, omissions to act, of persons participating in said <br />event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon public property, . <br />including the public right of way in connection with the activity, shall be <br />removed immediately following said event. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and <br />applicable rules, regulations, and laws in connection with the conducting of <br />said event, or any activities associated therewith. This permit shall be in <br />addition to all other permits that are or may be required for conducting this <br />event or any associated activity. Specifically, the Permittee or any other <br />individual event participants shall be responsible for obtaining necessary <br />State ABC permits and County Health permits. For the fireworks display, <br />Permittee shall obtain all necessary State, County, and City permits <br />pertaining to the fireworks display. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />
