with the fireworks display and in agreement with the affected property owners, Chesapeake Drive shall be closed at Seaport Boulevard on July 4, 2000, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Seaport Court will be closed on July 4, 2000, at 7:00 p.m. or when parking capacity has been reached, whichever occurs first. 5. Dates and Time: The parade, arts and crafts fair, festival, and fireworks display shall be conducted on Tuesday, July 4,2000. The parade staging area shall be reserved from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; the parade route shall be reserved from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The arts and crafts fair and festival shall be conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The fireworks display shall be conducted from 9:30 p.m. until 1 0:00 p.m. 6. Insurance: Permittee shall provide to the City of Redwood City commercial general liability insurance coverage for any and all activities permitted hereunder in the amount of $1 ,000,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate, naming the City of Redwood City, its City Council, commissions, committees, boards, officers, employees, and agents (collectively, the "City- insureds") as insureds or additional insureds. If the City-insureds are covered as additional insureds, the Permittee shall provide endorsements to the policy which shall provide that: (i) said insurance shall be primary insurance with respect to the City-insureds, (ii) apply separately to each insured against whom claim is made or suit is brought, except with respect to the limits of the insured's liability (cross liability endorsement), and (iii) name the City- insureds as additional insureds. Permittee shall furnish evidence of such insurance coverage in a form satisfactory to the City at least ten (10) days prior to commencement of the event. 7. Damage to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse the City for the costs of any damages to City owned property in the vicinity of the designated. areas, caused by or arising out of the conducting of the activities permitted hereunder, or the acts, omissions to act, of persons participating in said event. All signs or other markings placed in or upon public property, . including the public right of way in connection with the activity, shall be removed immediately following said event. 8. Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and applicable rules, regulations, and laws in connection with the conducting of said event, or any activities associated therewith. This permit shall be in addition to all other permits that are or may be required for conducting this event or any associated activity. Specifically, the Permittee or any other individual event participants shall be responsible for obtaining necessary State ABC permits and County Health permits. For the fireworks display, Permittee shall obtain all necessary State, County, and City permits pertaining to the fireworks display. 2
