9. 10. Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnity and save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards, commissions, employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to perform of Permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or arising out of said activities herein permitted. City Services: City agrees to provide those services requested in the letter dated January 20,2000 in furtherance of the activities herein permitted. Specifically, the City agrees to provide the following services: . Street sweepers to be available at approximately 10:00 a.m. to pick up fresh horse droppings along the parade route and at the jury parking lot at Middlefield Road and Veterans Boulevard. . Deliver and pick up available bleachers to Marshall and Winslow Streets prior to and after the parade. . Deliver barricades, as necessary, to locations around the festival area on Monday, July 3rd, no later than 5:00 p.m. and along the parade route as determined by the Police Department and the PCA. Barricades will be in - place before 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4th. . Install along the parade route immediately before the parade, the PCA's American flags, which are in storage at Public Works, and remove them as soon as possible after the parade. . Use of a 1-1/2 inch fire hydrant for an antique fire truck demonstration in the festival area following the parade on July 4th. . Use of the parking structure on Marshall Street and use of the Hamilton Street parking lot along Winslow Street for handicap and vendor parking from 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 3rd until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4th. . Closure of Hamilton Street from Broadway to the entrance of the Hamilton Street parking lot from 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 2 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4. . No parking in the festival area from 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 3rd to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. July 4th. 3
