This scope does not include preparation of detailed mitigation plans,
however, such as for loss of wetlands.

4.

Provide Ongoing Consultation

ESA will be available to provide ongoing consultation beyond the preparation of initial
CEQA documentation. This may include, but not be limited to, meetings and/or
hearings with BCDC and the Anny Corps of Engineers.

SCHEDULE

ESA's proposed schedule calls for submission of the Initial Study approximately four
. weeks following project initiation. Submission of the Negative Declaration would
follow approximately two weeks following receipt of the City's review of the Initial .
Study. Schedule requirements will be solidified in discussion with the City during
project initiation.

PRICE

ESA estimates a cost of $17,400 to prepare the CEQA documentation for levee
upgrades being proposed by Redwood City in the vicinity of Redwood Shores. A
breakdown of the price by general work task is provided below. The price is also
conditioned on the assumptions described in the following section.

Task

1.
2.
3.

Initial Background Review $1,440.00
Prepare Initial Study $12,360.00
Prepare Negative Declaration $3,600.00

TOT AL

$11,400.00

4. Provide Ongoing Consultation - Ongoing Consultation will be available on a time
and materials basis and a time and materials rate schedule is included with this letter.
It is assumed that approximately 60 - 80 hours could be spent on this task.

PROJECT S CHED UI..E AND PRI œ ASS UMP11 ON S

.

Work start will be approximately July 15, 1991.

.

ESA will receive all data and reports pertinent to the project. If additional
technical information becomes available after project start-up, these data shall
also be made available as soon as possible.

ESA
