<br />Agreement No. F1A04A36 <br />Sheet 1 of 2 <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> <br />AGREEMENT FOR LOCAL MATCH FUND CREDIT [ ] <br />AND/OR ADVANCE EXPENDITURE OF LOCAL FUNDS [ X] <br />AND/OR PROJECT APPROVAL [ ] <br /> <br />This Agreement, entered into on June I, 1994, is between City of Redwood City, a <br />public entity hereinafter referred to as AGENCY, and STATE OF CALIFORNIA, <br />acting by and through its Business, Transportation and Housing Agency, <br />Department of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as STATE. <br /> <br />1. [ <br /> <br />] Local Match Fund Credit <br /> <br />A. AGENCY has received approval through California Transportation <br />Commission (CTC) Resolution # XXXXX (Attachment I, if applicable [ ]) for <br />the advance expenditure of local funds to be used as a credit towards future <br />STATE funds for the public passenger rail project ("PROJECT") as described in <br />that attached Resolution. The effective date for the start of local expenditure <br />credit is the date of the CTC approving resolution. AGENCY desires to <br />commence work on that project in advance of STATE funds being committed <br />and made available by CTC and to preserve the eligibility of these expenditures <br />for STATE match or reimbursement at a future date. <br /> <br />B. Terms and conditions to enable STATE to reimburse AGENCY are set forth in <br />the Guidelines for Advance Expenditure of Local Match Funds (CTC <br />Resolution #G-91-11 dated April 25, 1991 and as amended by CTC Resolution <br />#G-91-23 dated October 18, 1991) which are made an express part of this <br />Agreement as Attachment III, if applicable [ ], together with and any other <br />terms and conditions that are contained within the CTC's approving <br />Resolution, Attachment 1. <br /> <br />2. [ X] Advance Expenditure of Local Funds <br /> <br />A. AGENCY has received approval through California Transportation <br />Commission (CTC) STIP Amendment for Action #94S-1 Project 04 0966F <br />(Attachment II, if applicable [X ]) to advance a project included in the State <br />Transportation Improvement Program entirely through the use of its own <br />funds. The effective date for the start of local expenditure credit is the date of <br />the CTC approving resolution. AGENCY desires to commence work on that <br />project in advance of STATE funds being committed and made available by <br />CTC and to preserve the eligibility of these expenditures as local matching <br />funds for ST ATE reimbursement or match at a future date. <br /> <br />B. Terms and conditions to enable STATE to reimburse AGENCY are set forth in <br />the Guidelines for Advancing of Projects and Reimbursement of STIP projects <br />
