Mr. Harry Ellen of the Veterans of Foreign Wars reported his organization, having purchased a 40-foot flagpole for the récreation center site, was anxious to know what"was to be done with~the site, and if the city would meet the expense of installation. Mr. Di~ itt assured him the pole would be installed by the city, but he -suggested that the pole be installed at Hawes PäEk temporarily until the disposition of the new site was decided.
