Mr. Di~ <br />itt assured him the pole would be installed by the city, but he <br />-suggested that the pole be installed at Hawes PäEk temporarily until <br />the disposition of the new site was decided. Nylander pro- <br />testing the 3D-day furlough for WPA recreation workers. <br /> <br />Extensive discussion was held on the parks budget, as sub- <br />mitted by Mr. Walsh. Prime item of importance was the matter of <br />$1200 for maintenance of Union Cemetery, but no definite action <br />was taken to delete the item "from the" budget. The budget was <br />adopted, with the addition of $500 for landscaping of Hawes Park. <br /> <br />, -The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m. in respect to the late <br />Edwin" De ..
