Abolished Classifications <br />The following classifications will be abolished, as essential duties have been incorporated into the <br />proposed new classifications in Section I: <br />• Customer Support Services Specialist <br />• Recycled Water Specialist <br />• Water Conservation Specialist <br />IV. Certification Pay (MOU Section 15.15.1— Water Employees) <br />Section 15.15.1 of the MOU shall be amended as follows to reflect the new classification <br />structure, and to add Cross -Connection Specialist Certification as eligible for certification pay for <br />the Lead Water Resources Technician classification: <br />Water EmDlovees: <br />This program is intended to provide an incentive for City employees in positions assigned <br />to the Water Division to obtain and maintain certifications above what is required by the <br />job description. The City will provide a Certification Recognition Payment (CRP) of two <br />percent (2%) for possession of job-related certifications above the certifications <br />requirements for the worker's job classification as follows: <br />Job Classification <br />PWMW-UII (Water), Water <br />Resources Technician, Water <br />Resources Specialist <br />Lead Water Resources Technician <br />Certification Pay Requirements <br />AWWA Water Distribution Operator <br />Grade II (D2) <br />AWWA Water Distribution Operator <br />Grade II (D2) OR AWWA Cross - <br />Connection Specialist Certification (in <br />the event the employee has both <br />certificates, the CRP will not exceed <br />two percent (2%) <br />PWMW III (Water), Lead PWMW AWWA Water Distribution Operator <br />(Water), Utilities Locator Grade III (D3) <br />Utilities Worker (Water), Utilities AWWA Water Distribution Operator <br />Specialist (Water) Grade IV (D4) <br />ATN/RES0.0114/CC RESO SEW MOU AMENDMENT EXHIBITA <br />REV: 12-29-17 MI Page 2 of 19 <br />
