City of Redwood City Statement of Work Staging and Installation Staging and Instailation includes loading, configuring, and installing the operating system software, the SQL Server database software, anti-virus software,backup software, clock synchronization software, Palladium0 application software, and all other software included in our standard proposal. We have included staging for the hardware, as defined, 7 servers, and up to 52 clients. Additional staging can be discussed for any existing or other hardware not defined. Network Cabling Category 5 unshielded twisted pair cabling is required on all proposed servers and clients. Lucent Technologies is not including any cabling or connectivity. We will provide review only and recommendations based on,our analysis and testing. HP Pentium Servers -All servers and clients that we propose are made by HP and utilize a minimum of 200MHz Intel Pentium Processors. The brand of servers should be Microsoft recommended and compatible. Remote Maintenance -Each server should be proposed with both remote access and remote control software so that support personnel can immediately dial in to the site to troubleshoot problems without the delays associated with dispatching personnel to the site. We can also upgrade and enhance our products via modem communication with the prior approval and knowledge of our client base. Modems were proposed for support for Redwood City. Data Conversion -Data Conversion will be provided for Master Name Index conversion only. Support— As requested we have included a warranty for twelve months commencing at Acceptance. Lucent Technologies can offer 8 x 5 and 7 x 24 maintenance plans. The standard pricing is 15% for 8 x 5 and 20% for 7 x 24. CAD and Interfaces should be 20%. RMS should be 15% based on optional plans.
