City of Redwood City Statement of Work <br /> conta.ct with the necessary vendor or data processing staff for assistance will be <br /> initiated. Redwood City will provide adequate space for the installation and termination <br /> of all cables and structured wire equipment, as necessary. Redwood City will also <br /> provide adequate telephone connection for the E911 Interface. Lucent will also test all <br /> devices and assure connectivity throughout the entire network. <br /> Lucent Technologies requires that customers providing their own hardware pay the cost <br /> of shipping the equipment to and from Lucent Technologies staging facility in <br /> Naperville, Illinois. Any loss, damage etceteras to the customer's equipment during <br /> shipping, is the responsibility of the customer. <br /> A detailed bill of materials and the value of those items must accompany the equipment <br /> upon receipt at the Lucent Technologies staging facility. The customer will be notified <br /> upon receipt and any damaged equipment will be so noted for the customer. <br /> Customer-supplied Hardware that does not function as designed when staging begins is <br /> a warranty issue between the customer and the hardware vendor. Lucent Technologies <br /> will provide reasonable assistance to the customer in resolving hardware problems with <br /> the vendor and provide the vendor access to repa.ir or replace equipment in need of <br /> repair. <br /> While the equipment is at the Lucent Technologies staging facility any loss from theft <br /> or damage to the equipment will be the responsibility of the Lucent Technology. <br /> Training Plan: Lucent Technologies will schedule on site training with Redwood City <br /> which will be coordinated with your designated project manager/system aciministrator. <br /> Acceptance Test Plan: Lucent Technologies will provide an Acceptance Plan to <br /> Redwood City. An Acceptance Test Plan(ATP) will be provided to accomplish and to <br /> detail testing of the functionality of the components as delivered in this project. System <br /> Acceptance will occur in four phases, as requested. <br /> • Hardware acceptance <br /> • Software acceptance <br /> • Training certification and acceptance • <br /> • Final system acceptance <br /> Punchlist Resolution: Any and all identified project related deficiencies discovered <br /> during the execution of the ATP will be documented on a punchlist form. Recording <br /> these punchlist items on a documented form will allow Lucent Technologies to track <br /> any project-related deficiencies and expedite a satisfactory resolution.
