Redwood City Potice Department Statement of Work � signature authority for signing of acce�ptance testing and final acceptance documents and to act on behalf af all Redwood City agencies in execution of the contract 1.5� SYSTEM ENGINEERING The System Engineer shall oversee and hold responsibility for the design of this Mobile Data.System. This task includes reviewing the requirements of Redwood City and selecting and configuring a solution of Motorola hardware and softwaze that best meets these needs. Equipment features, performance, and cost are included in this pmcess. As mentioned above,the System Engineer will schedule tasks and report progress with the Program Manager. For this Mobile Data System,the System Engineer's responsibilities will include,but are not necessarily lunited to: ❖ Evaluating system rec�uirements and recommending a solution ❖ Creating an equipment list that reflects the design of this solution ❖ Analyzing and simulating data throughput and system capacity 1 •:� Predicting system RF coverage •:- Developing sufficient design documentation, including diagiams and text, to allow the system technologist to configure and optimize the design ❖ Interfacing with Motorola's manufacturing facilities regarding system technical issues •:- Drafting and overseeing the execution of an Acceptance Test Procedure. 1.6 SYSTEM TECHNOLOGIST The role of the System Technologist is to configure and optimize the hardware and soflware included in the design of this Mobile Data System. To perform these tasks,the System Technologist will coordinate with the Program Manager to ensure that the equipmeat is�implemented iu manners consisteat with the design and management plans. As me�ationed above,the System Technologist v�ill schedule tasks and report progress with the Program Manager. For this Mobile Data System,the System Technologist's responsibilities will include, ' .
