Redwood City Police <br /> Department Statement of Work <br /> � I.1S FIIII�LEED EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION <br /> 1.15.1 Motorola Responsibilities <br /> This task includes the installation and integration of the Network Controller <br /> and Network Backbone equipment supplied as part of this proposal. <br /> Installation and integration can begin once all site improvements have been <br /> made as specified earlier, following Motomla's inventory of all required . <br /> equipment, and after Redwood City has successfully obtained all required <br /> licenses and permits for system installation and operation. Once these <br /> conditions are met, Motorola will: - <br /> ❖ Install Quantar DBS at the Cross site <br /> ❖ Install antennas and traz�smission line at the required sites <br /> ❖ Connect system grounding to the Quantar DBS and antenna system <br /> . ❖ Adjust and optimize the Quantar DBS <br /> ❖ Install the RNC at Police Department Radio Equipment Room. <br /> :- Configure and optimize the RNC. <br /> •:� Connect RNC to backbone site circuits to the end equipment <br /> Redwood City will provide Motorola with access xo site facilities and make <br /> � available vehicles as required to meet the installation schedule. <br /> l.lf) MOBILE DATADEVICE INSTALLATION <br /> Based upon current information obtained during site walks,Motorola is <br /> proposing a standard type mounts in velucles with split seats that can <br /> accommodate this type of mount An associated standard pedestal and <br /> associated hardware will also be included for mounting of proposed NIDD <br /> units. Consideration must be made for dual air bag vehicles and will be the . <br /> responsibility of Redwood City to ensure that MDD installation design does <br /> not restrict air bag inflation path. Motorola will provide relocation of <br /> existing radio equipment as necessary to accommodaxe NIDD installation. A <br /> prototype NIDD installation will be completed prior to doing all MDD <br /> installations to allow for joint approval by Motorola and Redwood City on <br /> MDD installation design. <br /> Motorola also understands that Redwood City desires that the MDD installs <br /> be performed by Motorola at the Redwood City Police Department location <br /> with Motorola resources.
