CINCO de MAYO ACTIVITY <br /> PURPOSE <br /> It is the intent of the Club Mexicano Americano (CMA) to hold the <br /> Cinco de Mayo Celebration on May 2, 1993. <br /> The event, if approved, will be held in downtown Redwood City on <br /> the parking lot bordering the railroad tracks, Middlefield & Winslow <br /> Avenues, and the South end of Hamilton Street. <br /> A stage will be erected at the South-West end of the parking lot <br /> where well-known talent from the area will perform and a smaller <br /> stage will be on Hamilton Street facing South behind the trees. Arts <br /> and crafts, foods, soft beverages, beer, wine and informational <br /> booths will be set-up on the above parking lot. <br /> Booths will be rented from a professional firm by C.M.A., who will in <br /> turn rent them to vendors. C.M.A. shall select a committee to <br /> scrutinize the potential vendors carefully, and will assign booth <br /> locations to those vendors who meet the committee's approval. <br /> Block guards will be strategically placed by the sponsor for security <br /> purposes. T <br /> RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> It is clearly understood by C.M.A. that they will be responsible for <br /> the following: <br /> 1 . Street clean-up after the event. <br /> 2. Securing adequate trash bins from B.F.I. <br /> 3. Health permits for food vendors. <br /> 4. A.B.C. permits <br /> � I9lg <br />
