• Each quarter, Consultant will submit groundwater samples from five <br />selected wells to Microbial Insights laboratory for microbial (DNA) <br />analyses of Dehalococcoides (DHC), a microorganism known to facilitate <br />the degradation of HVOCs, to further establish baseline levels of DHC in <br />groundwater at the site. <br />Task 1.4 — Quarterly Monitoring Reports <br />• Consultant will complete quarterly monitoring reports and upload the <br />report to the Regional Water Quality Control Board's Geotracker <br />database. Consultant will also send an electronic copy of the report to the <br />City. <br />Task 2 — Remedial Design Activities <br />Task 2.1 — Task Management/Regulatory Communication <br />• Consultant will provide ongoing communication with Regional Water <br />Quality Control Board (RWQCB) staff, the City, and the site property <br />owners as needed to support the planned remedial activities. Tasks may <br />include project meetings and other necessary communications. <br />Task 2.2 — Approval Steps for Remedial Design Implementation Plan (RDIP) <br />• Consultant will provide a draft RDIP for review by the City and <br />subsequently the site owners. Consultant will submit a final draft to the <br />RWQCB for review and approval and also provide copies to the site <br />owners. Consultant will also facilitate discussions with the City, RWQCB, <br />and site property owners regarding access and logistics with implementing <br />the full-scale remediation activities. <br />Task 2.3 — Bid Documents for Full Scale Remediation <br />• Consultant will assist the City with writing a proposed scope of work for <br />the full-scale remediation phase of the project. Consultant will compile all <br />relevant remediation plans and documentation for the City to include with <br />this solicitation. Consultant will also attend a bid -walk for the advertised <br />work and assist with responses to bidder questions, as needed. <br />Task 2.4 — Full Scale Remediation Bid Evaluation and Award <br />• Consultant will assist the City with reviewing and evaluating submittals. <br />II. Project and Fee Schedule <br />A. Project Schedule - Consultant will begin work immediately upon receipt of the <br />fully executed amendment. Groundwater monitoring will be conducted, ending in <br />March 2020. Discussions related to the RDIP and bidding of the full-scale <br />remediation work are anticipated to be conducted during most of 2019. <br />B. Payment Terms - Consultant will provide the services outlined herein on an <br />hourly basis not to exceed $94,275.
