EXHIBIT A <br />1. Scope of Work/ Tasks Deadline <br />Contractor shall provide the following services by April 20, 2018: <br />1) Background: <br />Contractor will replace carpet and cove base for the Downtown Main Library Facility located <br />at 1044 Middlefield Road Redwood City, CA 94063. The Contractor will furnish, install and <br />provide all Interface manufactured carpet squares and ancillary materials needed to provide <br />a complete project. The Downtown Main Library Facility has slightly different requirements <br />within the complex, therefore, the Contractor will work closely with City staff during the <br />entire project. The Contractor shall return all areas within the Downtown Main Library <br />Facility to their original condition, including removal of all debris, cleaning within all work <br />areas, and furniture placement (computers, desks, chairs, equipment, supplies, etc.) prior to <br />the end of the Contractor's work shift. <br />2) Site Description <br />Carpet Replacement will take place within the Downtown Main Library Facility in the: <br />i) First Floor — Reading Room & Stack Areas <br />ii) First Floor— Children's Areas <br />iii) Second Floor— Project Read <br />iv) Second Floor—Admin. Areas <br />3) Installation Dates and Hours <br />The normal hours of operation for the Downtown Main Library Facility are generally <br />Monday -Thursday, 10am to 9pm; Friday and Saturday, 10am to 5pm; and Sunday, 12pm to <br />5pm. Contractor's work will occur during these normal hours of operation. All areas within <br />the construction site must be clean and free of debris and of any obstructions, so as not to <br />interfere with the designated hours of operation. Contractor should be flexible in terms of <br />installation date and time, in order to cause the least disruption to the library. <br />4) Installation Details <br />a) Work Schedule <br />i) Contractor will submit a work schedule to the City's Project Manager at least one <br />week priorto the planned work start date. <br />ii) Once the Project Manager and Contractor agree upon a work schedule, any <br />proposed changes will be immediately coordinated with the Project Manager, but <br />not less than 24 hours in advance of the performance of work for any particular <br />work space.
