RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AMENDED AGREEMENT FOR HOUSING ASSOCIATION FOR THE <br /> NEEDY AND DISPOSSESSED, INC. (HAND) TO REHABILITATE <br /> REDWOOD OAKS APARTMENTS <br /> AT 330-340 REDWOOD AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. The Housing for the Needy and Dispossessed ("Contractor") operates a <br />multi-family apartment building located at 330-340 Redwood Avenue, Redwood City (the <br />"Building") to provide affordable housing for residents of the City of Redwood City (the <br />Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to rehabilitate <br /> <br /> the Building during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2002; <br /> <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br /> increase the allocation to Contractor, to a total sum of Two Hundred Forty One Thousand <br /> Four Hundred and 22/100 Dollars ($241~400.22) from its Community Housing <br /> Development Organization HOME Partnership Investment Pro.am funds for the <br /> foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an amended a~eement entitled. "Amended A~eement with Housing <br /> Association For the Needy and Dispossessed, Inc. (HAND) to Rehabilitate Redwood Oaks <br /> Apartments at 330-340 Redwood Avenue" providing for such funding has been presented <br /> to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said amended <br /> agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br /> 12/17/01 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
