AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AMEND AGREEMENT FOR <br /> PROFESSIONAL PLANNING AND REDEVELOPMENT CONSULTING SERVICES <br /> (Keyser Marston Associates, Inc.) <br /> <br /> This Amendment No. 1 is entered into and effective as of the day of <br /> , 200 , amending the agreement dated July 8, 1999 (the <br /> "Agreement") by and between the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City, <br /> a political subdivision of the State of California ("Agency") and Keyser Marston <br /> Associates, Inc. ("Contractor") (collectively, the "Parties") for professional planning and <br /> redevelopment consulting services. <br /> <br /> RECITALS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has performed the services under the Agreement to the <br /> satisfaction of the Agency; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency continues to require Contractor's professional services; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to increase the not-to- <br /> exceed amount of the Agreement by one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000). <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br /> contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Agreement is hereby amended to increase the combined total of <br />the compensation and reimbursement costs by a not-to-exceed amount of One Hundred <br />Thousand Dollars ($100,000). <br /> <br /> 2. All other provisions of the Agreement will remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br /> 3. All requisite insurance policies to be maintained by the Contractor <br /> pursuant to the Agreement will include coverage for this Amendment. <br /> <br /> 4.
