Mr. Royer explained the benefits to all concerned <br />including the city, schools and the taxpayer in general. <br />Due to the fact that most of the Commissioners were all informed of <br />thi~ issue at a previous meeting they were all in accord with the <br />Dresentation made by Councilman Royer. Vincent Rambo, newly appointed <br />Com~iRsion me~ber felt that he was now well enough acquainted with the <br />project and requested that be be allowed to withhold bis vote. <br />MSC by Co~~is?ioners Gold and Campbell that we accept the entire trade <br />of Hawes Park with the Elementary School. for 2~ acres R.t Goodwin School <br />and the balance to be decided ~ t a later date \vhich l¡vill be either <br />Taft or Hoover School or a portion at each of the areas.
