Rolison, advising <br />that the $ 500 for playgroMd equi~ent at Madd~ Park must be approved <br />by resolution by the council, at such time when the need for this <br />eqü~pment is shown by the Recreation Director. Alfred Morton <br />stated that he would noti~y the ci~y council to offer this <br />resolution for the expenditure. <br /> <br />Mr. Rolison's letter a~ised that the req~st rort~ing of ~ <br />area east of the swimming pool cannot be granted at this time. Layton. <br /> <br />Chairman Hanley advise4 that hhere has been no further progress <br />with the ttr Memorial ~unding. <br /> <br />Chirman Hanley reported that the Planning Commission is awaiting funds <br />to proceed with the work of the tree master plan parkways. <br /> <br />Chairman Hanley advised that the real estate committee of the city <br />council is investigating t~l.e possibility of the purchase of the <br />Baird property. <br /> <br />A nominating,..commi ttee for the new officers of the commission was <br />appointed. those on the c~ittee are Catherine Brennan, Gerry Verssen <br />and Willi~ Hanley. <br /> <br />~~eeting ad, j ourned at 9: 10 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br />
