For example, street closures could result in traffic <br />impacts at adjacent intersections as well as increase Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT). <br />· Ensure that future plans improve connections from the East Bay to major Redwood <br />City employment centers (Downtown, Pacific Shores, and Redwood Shores). <br />Reimbursement Request <br />The City requests full reimbursement of staff and consultant time while supporting, <br />reviewing and providing input on the Dumbarton Transportation Corridor study. The City <br />also requests reimbursement of construction costs associated with required changes to <br />the Redwood City Transit Center and connections to the Transit Center (bicycle, <br />pedestrian, etc.), that must be constructed to accommodate the new rail service. <br /> <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The Council may choose to not send this letter, or request modifications to the letter. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Limited staff time was spent preparing this letter.
