Borings will be advanced to a maximum of two (2) feet bgs. After sample collection, soil cuttings will be placed back into each boring. . GEl will submit the sixteen (16) discrete soil samples to a California-certified laboratory for analyses for Total Extractable Petroleum Hydrocarbons by EPA Method 8015M, Volatile Organic Compounds by EP A Method 8260B, Semi-volatile organic compounds by EP A Method 8270C, Organochlorine Pesticides by EP A Method 8081, CAM 17 Metals by EP A Methods 601 OB and 7471 A, and Asbestos by OSHA Method ID-191. Task 2. - Report Preparation . GEl will prepare three (3) copies of a written technical report of the investigation procedures and analytical results. The report will include CAD figures depicting sampling locations, summary analytical data tables and laboratory reports. Project Cost Work will be performed on a lump sum basis as follows: Task 1. Soil Borings & Samples Collection Analytical $ 2,315 $10,800 Task 2. Report $ 2,225 $15,340 TOTAL PROJECT COST: Schedule GEl will complete all the specified work within three (3) weeks of the date of the client's approval to proceed. Project Limitations . Price is based on assumed existing conditions and adequate site access. No significant disruption to on-going site activities is anticipated during the sampling. Further investigation may be needed if an unanticipated condition or conditions is/are encountered during the investigation. Additiona11aboratory analyses may be required for landfill acceptance. Price assumes activities can be completed without utility or other hindrance and/or obstruction~ GEl has not included contingency for the need to relocate, remove or replace utilities. Analytical costs are based on a normal five (5) working day lab turn. . . . .
