<br />J. Final Year "Expense True-Up" <br />In the event the agreement is terminated, an exit conference will be scheduled. At the <br />conference the Contractor will submit a statement which will itemize expenses and <br />revenues to the end of the Current Year. The SBWMA Consultant will identify the surplus <br />due to/ due from the SBWMA by jurisdiction, and each Member Agency's share or the <br />shortfall resulting from the itemized expenses for the Current Year (Current Year <br />surplus/shortfall). The SBWMA Consultant shall then sum the jurisdiction's Balancing <br />Accounts and Current year surplus/ shortfall and determine the overall surplus/ shortfall. <br />Any surplus owed to the jurisdictions shall be paid by the Contractor to the SBWMA over <br />a one-year period. Any shortfall owed to the Contractor will be paid to the Contractor <br />over a one-year period. <br />SBWMA Compensation Adjustment Guidelines June 6, 2000 <br />PAGE 23 <br />
