Responsibility: Consultant Prepares Reports SBWMA, Contractor and Public Review Reports Timing: October 1 - December Board Meeting Tasks: II. Prepare Preliminary Report II.Prepare Draft Report II.Pre are Final Re ort The reporting and review of the SBWMA Consultant's findings will be conducted in a manner that will allow for maximum input from the SBWMA staff, Board Members, Contractor and the public. REPORT CONTENTS The SBWMA Consultant shall summarize the results of its findings in a preliminary draft report to the SBWMA. The draft report must include all of the following: .:. An Executive Summary; .:. A summary of the Contractor's Application; .:. A description of and the basis for all adjustments to Contractor's Application; .:. Adjusted revenue projections; .:. Adjusted expense projections; .:. Calculation of the required adjustment to the then-current compensation for the SBWMA member agencies based on then-current account totals (e.g., type, size and frequency); .:. A discussion of outstanding issues for SBWMA consideration; .:. Projected adjustment recommendation; .:. Calculated operating ratio; .:. Anticipated SBWMA surplus/ shortfall; and .:. Recommended Contractor Compensation for Rate Year by jurisdiction. .:. All of the revenue and expense projections, calculations and adjustments shall be prepared by line of business: . Residential Solid Waste Service . Residential Recyclable Material Service . Residential Plant Material Service . Commercial Solid Waste Service . Commercial Recyclable Material Service Finally, all of the above should be prepared for the sBWMA service area and each local jurisdiction separately. Unless otherwise directed by the SBWMA, all rate adjustment calculations shall assume that the current rate structures will remain the same.
