<br />1 <br />2 C. Contractor's SBWMA service area wide costs for such <br />3 collections, shall be deemed Pass Through Costs in accounting therefore under Article <br />4 6. <br />5 <br />6 4.03 Recyclable Materials Collection. <br />7 <br />8 4.03.1 Residential Recyclable Materials Collection. Contractor shall <br />9 Collect and remove all Recyclable Materials placed in or adjacent to Recycling <br />10 Containers at the designated Collection locations for Waste Generator's residing in <br />11 Single Family Dwellings and Multi-Family Dwelling Units. It is understood that all <br />12 Single-Family Dwelling Units' Recyclable Materials Collection service will be provided <br />13 at curb side. Contractor shall work with residential service recipients to determine <br />14 mutually acceptable Collection locations to both parties in the event hard-to-serve areas <br />15 exist. <br />16 <br />17 Recyclable Material Collection from residential Waste Generators within <br />18 the Agency shall be a minimum of once every two weeks. Residential Recyclable <br />19 Materials Collection may be on the same day of the week as Solid Waste Collection <br />20 service as directed by Agency. Contractor will notify Recycling service recipients, as is <br />21 done for regular service, regarding holiday Collection schedules. At a minimum, <br />22 Contractor shall collect: aluminum cans, glass bottles and jars, metal cans and narrow <br />23 neck plastic containers (plastic 1 & 2), and newspaper, mixed paper (including but not <br />24 limited to magazines, junk mail, brown paper bags, and white and colored paper), and <br />25 corrugated cardboard. Agency reserves the right per Section 2.09 to direct Contractor <br />26 to add to the list of materials to be collected and described above and to perform <br />27 additional Residential Recyclery services in the event the Contractor is not making <br />28 adequate progress toward the Agency's diversion goals described in Section 4.05. <br />29 <br />30 4.03.2 Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional Recyclable Materials <br />31 Collection. Contractor shall offer commingled Collection of newspaper, office paper, <br />32 mixed paper and cardboard in one Container to all Commercial, Industrial and <br />33 Institutional Service Recipients. Also, Contractor shall offer commingled Source <br />34 Separated Collection of aluminum cans, glass bottles and jars, metal cans and narrow <br />35 neck plastic containers (plastic #1 and #2) and small metal objects in one Container to <br />36 all Commercial, Industrial and Institutional Service Recipients, upon installation of <br />37 appropriate Recyclable Materials Processing system. Commercial Recycling Collection <br />38 shall be performed at a time mutually agreed upon by Contractor and the Waste <br />39 Generator or Owner of the property. Agency reserves the right per Section 2.09 to <br />40 direct Contractor to add to the list of materials to be collected and described above and <br />41 to perform additional Commercial Recycling services such as selective routing for clean <br />42 loads in the event that Contractor is not making adequate progress toward the Agency's <br />43 diversion goals described in Section 4.05. <br />44 <br /> Atty / Agr /2005.022 <br /> 060205 -14- <br />
