1 C. Collection of Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials from 2 litter or Recycling Containers in Agency parks; 3 4 D. Provision of debris box service at locations on Agency's 5 property as directed by Agency; and, 6 7 E. Review of plans for land use or property developments with 8 regard to Solid Waste service issues. 9 10 At the option of the Agency, exercised in writing, these services may be provided 11 at no charge to the Agency but shall be reimbursed to the Contractor through the rates 12 charged other service recipients. Agency's City Manager is hereby authorized to 13 evaluate and amend, in writing, Exhibit B to reflect the current requirements of the 14 Agency. 15 16 4.02.4 Permanent ContainersfDebris Box Service. Contractor shall 17 provide permanent / debris box Containers for the purpose of Collection of Solid Waste. 18 Contractor shall deliver to and Collect debris boxes from that location identified by the 19 service recipient. Containers shall be free of graffiti and in good repair. Containers 20 must be clearly marked and identifiable as belonging to Contractor. Special 21 consideration shall be given when determining the pick up area for temporary 22 Containers to ensure that the flow of traffic is not impeded and that it does not result in 23 aesthetic degradation of an area. The designated pick up area, if disputed by service 24 recipient or Contractor, shall be determined by Agency. Additionally, if in Agency's 25 opinion the location of an existing pick up area is inappropriate, Agency may require 26 the service recipient or Contractor to relocate the pick up area. 27 28 4.02.5 Periodic Special Collections. 29 30 A. Contractor will provide two separate on-call cleanups to all 31 residential (single family and multi-family) Waste Generators. Contractor will Collect 32 up to two (2) cubic yards of Solid Waste from Residential Property comprised of objects 33 larger than ordinarily may be accommodated by residential Solid Waste Containers, 34 including one large object not heavier than 200 pounds, twice each Rate Year on a day 35 designated by owners or occupants. Such Collections will be made as part of a year 36 round" on-call cleanup" program. Owners and occupants of Residential property shall 37 be required to place such Solid Waste at curbside for Collection. 38 39 B. In conjunction with the on-call cleanups described in Section 40 A, above, Contractor will also offer Collection of residential Plant Materials and wood 41 to increase the amount of material diverted from landfills. SBWMA or Agency may 42 direct Contractor to implement additional special collections programs pursuant to 43 Section 2.09 of this Agreement.
