<br />1 drop-off Christmas trees for two weeks after January 1st. Contractor will notify all <br />2 service recipients in writing of the dates, time, and places of all Christmas Tree <br />3 Collections. <br />4 <br />5 4.07.2 Household Battery Collection. In conjunction with the <br />6 Household Hazardous Waste Program administered by San Mateo County, Contractor <br />7 shall provide for the Curbside Collection of household batteries if directed to do so by <br />8 Agency. Contractor shall be responsible for the Recycling, handling andf or proper <br />9 Disposal of the batteries in compliance with all applicable laws. Contractor shall work <br />10 with the SBWMA to inform the public of the availability of this service. <br />11 <br />12 4.07.3 Commercial Organics Collection Program. Contractor shall <br />13 continue the program to diverted commercial organic material from landfill disposal <br />14 (hereinafter the "Commercial Organics Collection I'rogram") consistent with <br />15 Contractor's November 20, 2002 proposal, and subsequent clarifications and revisions <br />16 dated: January 27, 2003; February 7, 2003; March 14, 2003; August 6, 2003; and August <br />17 13, 2003. Copies of the foregoing documents are on file with the Authority, the City <br />18 Clerk of the Agency, and the Contractor. <br />19 a. The Commercial ()rganics Collection Program shall continue for the <br />20 remaining term of the Agreement and any extension thereof. <br />21 b. Contractor shall report Commercial ()rganics Collection Program <br />22 tonnage information and other such other operational information (e.g., changes in <br />23 participants' solid waste service levels), in a content and format satisfactory to the <br />24 Authority and Agency, as part of the existing quarterly Management Information <br />25 System (MIS) report provided by Contractor to Authority and Agency. In addition, <br />26 Contractor shall submit Commercial ()rganics Collection Program financial information <br />27 as a part of Contractor's annual rate application consistent with the provisions of Article <br />28 6 of the Agreement. <br />29 c. The Contractor shall be compensated for services rendered hereunder in <br />30 accordance with Article 6 of the Agreement, except as provided below for processing <br />31 expenses. <br />32 d. Accounting for processing expenses incurred hereunder shall be the <br />33 product of multiplying the number of commercial organic tons processed by Contractor <br />34 by the applicable Processing Fee (per ton) specified below (hereinafter referred to as the <br />35 "Processing Fee"). <br />36 <br /> Attyj Agrj2005.022 <br /> 060205 -18- <br />
