<br />1 Contractor shall be prepared to review its operations plan outlining the <br />2 Collection routes, intervals of Collection and Collection times for all materials Collected <br />3 under this Agreement with the Agency or its representatives at least annually. More <br />4 frequent reviews may be required if operations are not satisfactory based on <br />5 documented observations or reports or Complaints. If the plan is determined to be <br />6 inadequate by the Agency, Contractor shall revise plan incorporating any changes into <br />7 a revised plan and review said revised plan with the Agency within thirty (30) calendar <br />8 days. <br />9 <br />10 When notified of a missed pick-up, Contractor shall Collect the Solid <br />11 Waste, Recyclable Materials or Plant Materials on the same day, if possible, but in no <br />12 case more than one (1) working day (24 hours) after receipt of notice. <br />13 <br />14 4.10.2 Vehicles. <br />15 <br />16 A. Specifications. All vehicles used by Contractor in providing <br />17 Solid Waste, Recyclable Material and Plant Material Collection services shall be <br />18 registered with the California Department of Motor Vehicles. All such vehicles shall <br />19 have bodies designed to prevent leakage, spillage and/ or overflow. <br />20 <br />21 B. Vehicle Identification. Contractor's name, local telephone <br />22 number, and a unique vehicle identification number designed by Contractor for each <br />23 vehicle shall be prominently displayed on all vehicles, in letters and numbers no less <br />24 than two and one-half (2 1/2) inches high. Contractor shall not place SBWMA's or <br />25 Agency's name and/ or any SBWMA or Agency logo on Contractor vehicles. Vehicles <br />26 used solely for the Collection of Recycling, Organic and Plant Materials shall be labeled <br />27 to indicate those are the Collected materials. <br />28 <br />29 C. Cleaning and Maintenance. <br />30 <br />31 1) Contractor shall maintain all of its properties, <br />32 vehicles, facilities, and equipment used in providing service under this Agreement in a <br />33 good, safe, neat, clean and operable condition at all times. <br />34 <br />35 2) Vehicles used in the Collection of Solid Waste, <br />36 Recyclable Materials, Commercial ()rganic Materials and Plant IYlaterials shall be <br />37 painted, thoroughly washed, and thoroughly steam cleaned on a regular basis so as to <br />38 present a clean appearance. Agency may inspect vehicles at any time to determine <br />39 compliance with this Agreement. Contractor shall also make vehicles available to the <br />40 San Mateo County Health Department for inspection, at any frequency it requests. <br />41 <br />42 3) Contractor shall repaint or refurbish to the <br />43 satisfaction of the Agency all vehicles used in the Collection of Solid Waste, Recyclable <br /> Atty j Agrj2005.022 <br /> 060205 -21- <br />
