S. <br />Dodge reg~dlng the laM8cçl~ of Hetch Hetchy uea on east side <br />of Carson Street, fuls matter was discussed ~d ~ved, seconded <br />and carried, Hanley and Tornell that a committee be appointed to <br />investigate and report back to next meeting of the Park and <br />Recreation CoEssion, Comittee of Tornen, Hmley md Ba1z~ini. <br /> <br />A letter d~ed ~r1l10, 1956 fr~ City Mwager E. A. Rolison, regard- <br />ing tree survey re~ested by P~k md Rec~~ion Co~ission <br />showing completion of area from El Camino on the east to Nevada <br />on the west, between Jefferson and Whipple. <br /> <br />Personal Appearances: <br /> <br />Mr. Alan Rol11ns,addressed the Commission requesting that the <br />newly organized "Babe Ruth" Baseball League be allowed the use <br />of Recreation Department facilities, including umpire services <br />for two (2) baseball g~s per week. <br /> <br />Moved, seconded and carried, Hanley and Tornell that a letter be <br />~ltten to the City Cooocll rec~eMl~ ~proval of subject re~est, <br />subj~ct to agreements between Babe Ruth League representative, <br />City Manager and Recreation Director. <br /> <br />~. Sorenson of 1728 Vlr~nla AveMe: Mdressed the Comisslon <br />regarding baseball being played in Angmor Park plyground a~ea. He <br />stated that batted balls were creating a nuisance as well as <br />being dangerous to small children in the Park as well as in <br />adjacent back yards. <br /> <br />Moved, seconded and carried Hanley and Beals that a letter be <br />written to the City Council requesting that action be taken to <br />have signs errected stating "No Batted Balls Al~wed". <br /> <br />Co~ssioner Hanley reported no further progress on Yacht Harbor. <br />This item to be carried on agenda. <br /> <br />Commissioner Louise,Tornell advised no further progress on Park <br />and Recreation Foundation. This item to be carried on agenda. <br /> <br />. Park Superintendent Pasco Balzarini reports continued progress <br />on tree planting on El Camino Real (Whipple to Brester) this <br />item to be carried on agenda. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
