Dodge reg~dlng the laM8cçl~ of Hetch Hetchy uea on east side of Carson Street, fuls matter was discussed ~d ~ved, seconded and carried, Hanley and Tornell that a committee be appointed to investigate and report back to next meeting of the Park and Recreation CoEssion, Comittee of Tornen, Hmley md Ba1z~ini. Rolison, regard- ing tree survey re~ested by P~k md Rec~~ion Co~ission showing completion of area from El Camino on the east to Nevada on the west, between Jefferson and Whipple. Personal Appearances: Mr. Alan Rol11ns,addressed the Commission requesting that the newly organized "Babe Ruth" Baseball League be allowed the use of Recreation Department facilities, including umpire services for two (2) baseball g~s per week. Moved, seconded and carried, Hanley and Tornell that a letter be ~ltten to the City Cooocll rec~eMl~ ~proval of subject re~est, subj~ct to agreements between Babe Ruth League representative, City Manager and Recreation Director. ~. Sorenson of 1728 Vlr~nla AveMe: Mdressed the Comisslon regarding baseball being played in Angmor Park plyground a~ea. He stated that batted balls were creating a nuisance as well as being dangerous to small children in the Park as well as in adjacent back yards. Moved, seconded and carried Hanley and Beals that a letter be written to the City Council requesting that action be taken to have signs errected stating "No Batted Balls Al~wed". Co~ssioner Hanley reported no further progress on Yacht Harbor. This item to be carried on agenda. Commissioner Louise,Tornell advised no further progress on Park and Recreation Foundation. This item to be carried on agenda. . Park Superintendent Pasco Balzarini reports continued progress on tree planting on El Camino Real (Whipple to Brester) this item to be carried on agenda.
