<br />The regular me~t~ng of the Park and Recreation Commission was called
<br />to order by Chaiman M~rice Sc~tz at 8:00 p.m. in the Co~erence
<br />Room at the Veterans Memorial Building.

<br />On roll call the follo1~ing were present Chairman Maurice Schutz,
<br />Commissioners: Louise Tornall, Alyn Beals, James Knecht and Wally

<br />Lunny. Also present were staff members Red Morton, recreation director
<br />and Pasco Balzarini, park superintendent.

<br />file and put back on the agenda again in May.

<br />Signs - Co~issioœr Knecht spoke ~th the City Manager aM he Was
<br />assured by rim that the signs would be put up. The signs requested
<br />are to be located at Roosevelt and E1 Camino, Jefferson and ~l Camino,
<br />Roosevelt and Alameda, Jefferson and Alameda, J'efferson at Hawes
<br />and Välota and Roosevelt. Also, he was ,assured that the parking
<br />lot would be put in ,at the Little League Field.

<br />Rose Garden - Th!3 Women I s Club has donated $200 towards a special
<br />fund for the' rose garden. Mr. Balzarini s aid that he would ha ve
<br />the cost of each item for the rose gar'den by the next meeting and that
<br />they are to be put in the park budget. ~ ,
