'" .". Commissioner Tornell spoke on the convention åt Pasadena. Action was taken at the convention to have separate meetings for commissioners only. A dinner for commissioners Hanley and Gold has been set for February 25, the members will be notified of the place. - Chairman ,Schutz appointed the nominting cQmmittee for the coming election of officers for the commission. The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation ComMission was" called to order by Chairman Mauric e' Schut z at 8: 00 p. m. in the C onferenc e Room at the Veterans Memorial Building. On roll call the following were present Chairman Maurice Schutz, Commissioners: James Knecht, Ray Lunny, Catherine Brennan, Louise Tornell and Wally harder. Notetl absent was Commissioner Alyn Beals. Also present were staff members Red Mørton, recreation director and Pasco Balzarini, Park superintendent. M. S. C. that the minutes or February 3 be ~proved as mailed. , . Motion was made by Commissioner Tornell and seconded by Commissionyr Lunny that the dues for all rœmbers of th-e comc'i-ssion be paid to thè A. I. P. E. ., Yacht Harbor - Commissioner Harder had nothing to report. Red Morton took Commissioner Harder on a<~ tour~¡_ôf.~:..the Y~acht Harbor to get acquainted. ..
