There ar'e fifteen clubs participating <br />and the Rose Society- is showing a tremendous amount of interest. <br />Also they are raising all their own money. Pasco added at this time <br />t'hat he was pro11d to b e working with Catherine Brennan on this show <br />and the effort she was putting into the project was heart lifting. <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />There was a disc11ssion on the Easter Cross ~by the commissioners. <br /> <br />M. C. that a-letter be written to the City MaMger stating that the <br />co~ission feels they c~not reco~end the site, It is their <br />recommendation that it be turned over to the Engineering Department <br />for more study. <br /> <br />Pasco Balzarini anno~ced tMt tœ Park Depart~m was given 26 mall <br />planters by the American Pipe and, Const. Co. He asl{ed if a <br />letter of thanks would be written from the commission to Mr. John <br />Miller, Sales M~ager of this c~pa~. - <br /> <br />M. S. C. that a letter be written to the City Manager recommending <br />that half the cost for putting in a automatic .';sprinkler system at <br />John Gill and Benjamin Franklin schools be appropria~ed from the <br />c~ital outlay food.
