<br />8 <br /> <br />Commissioner Knecht appointed Commissioner Thompson and <br />Tornell for nominating committee, with Commissioner Stuart <br />being Chairman, and report back at the March meeting with <br />their recommendations for Chairman, vice-chairman and <br />secretary. <br /> <br />Comments from the Park & Recreation Directors and Commission- <br />ers pertaining to old or new business. <br /> <br />Mr. MOrton reported that a profit was made from funds de- <br />rived from the 4ger Scrimmage -last fall. (Account #96- <br />205.8) of $3,000, to be spent on Youth Activities, with <br />$500.00 to go to an electric scoreboard at McKinley School; <br />and $700.00 for a portable basketball bucket. Motion was <br />made by Commissioner Beals that these plans be accepted, <br />seconded by Commissioner Schutz and carried, with Commiss- <br />ioner Tornell being noted absent. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Commissioner Thompson stated she would like to have a monthly <br />report on activities from each Park & Recreation Superin- <br />tendent. Mr. MOrton explained that enough reports go out <br />on these activities, pl~s being publicized in the Tribune, <br />but if anything new in the line of activities came up, then <br />a report will be made. <br /> <br />Assistant Recreation Director Don Dimitratos appeared late. <br />,was conducting the finals of Recreation YoYo Contest. <br /> <br />He <br /> <br />Report of Mr s.
