Professor William- <br />son was pleased to hear that the Recreation Commission was <br />interested in using a Stanford Student Group as Planning <br />Assistants. Mr. Williamson said he felt this was an ex- <br />cellent opportunity for the students to receive experience <br />in their fields, and at the same time it would give those <br />people working on the problem a change to use the knowledge <br />and fresh approach of these students. He said he was not <br />sure that a group would be available for this project at <br />this time, until he checked with different departments ,that <br />are using students to make up these groups. He said that <br />he would let Commissioner Whitmore know within a few'days. <br /> <br />Report on the elimination of hazards throughout the City Parks <br />and Playgrounds. <br /> <br />Park Superintendent Shewry made report stating that certain <br />playground equipment had been repaired, eliminating hazards <br />in park areas.
