<br />Whitmore a group would not be available to work with the
<br />commission until January of 1966. Commissioner Whitmore
<br />commented that he thinks this ,would be a good idea. He
<br />explained that these students would come in to make an over-
<br />all survey of Redwood City. Red Morton stated that the Coun-
<br />ty wants a master plan showing every city.s plans. Commiss-
<br />ioner Knecht recommended that Commissioner Whitmore take this
<br />material to City Manager and tell him how the Commdssion feels,
<br />that something should be done, and report back.
<br />
<br />REPORT ON THE EXPANSION OF THE 4ger BUILDING.
<br />
<br />Commissioner Beals stated the plans are about ready to start
<br />building the building, that it will probably be another mon-
<br />th before the actual construction starts.
<br />
<br />DISCUSSION OF REPORT ON FUTURE LAND ACQUISITION.
<br />
<br />A report was given on this subject by Commissioner Whitmore
<br />which was written by Commissioners Thompson and Stuart. Comm-
<br />issioner Whitmore thanked both of these.Commissioners for do-
<br />ing an excellent job in making this report up. Commissioner
<br />Knecht suggested sending a copy of this report to the Council-
<br />men. Motion made by Commissioner Beals that the report be
<br />approved by the Commission and, forwarded to the proper auth-
<br />orities, seconded by Commissioner Tornell, and carried.

<br />Discussion held on which day would be best to attend. Tues-
<br />day, March 23 was chosen for everyone to go, if possible.

<br />REPORT OF NOMINATING COMMITTEE.

<br />Committee nominated new officers for 1965-66. Commissioner
<br />Stuart reported that the Secretary is Doris Thompson, Vice-
<br />Chairman, Robert Whitmore, Chairman Alyn Beals. Commission-
<br />er! Stuart moved the report be accepted, seconded by Commiss-
<br />ioner Tornell and carried.

<br />COMMENTS FROM THE PARK & RECREATION DIRECTORS AND COMMISSIONERS PER-
<br />TAINING TO OLD OR NEW BUSINESS.
<br />
<br />Commissioner Beals requested that Assistant Park Superintend-
<br />ent. put item regarding fencing at Stulsaft Park in the Park
<br />Budget for 1965-66.
<br />
<br />Mr. Morton reported on two candidates for replacing Maurice
<br />Schutz: Ann Gooding and Walter Beering. Commissioner Beals
<br />stated that Council is contemplating someone who is interest-
<br />
